Confirmed. Using MW glider strat is faster than the second glitch in MW glitch. It saves 0"1XX. And I think that is possible to get two coins in tha air ring of coins after the glider bounce, in order to save more time. I will try to perform this strat and use it to get the WR.

PD: bad news. Impossible to get the two coins in the air and to do a glider trick at the same time. The coins are high, and is impossible to tilt back the kart in the air to do the trick without to close the glider.

As you can see going to the right on 2nd lap seems much slower, i doubt im doing it so bad to lose such a big amount of time.
Im not sure about the other strat but I think its a little bit slower.

Adro and Branlo should help you better than me but here is what I do, it helped me a lot to improve my time:

When you land, start your MT and go immediatly to the very left, stuck to the wall. Now you just have to press B as soon as you get away from the wall. It's actually very early, I think I press B just after I got blue sparks. Remember that you want to stay to the very left, mainly at the beginning of the spiral.

2nd to last boost ramp (MT): you slowfall because it's a downward facing slope (you do this on every downward facing slope, such as DKJ and DH). You lose time going down these slopes normally. Also, not slowfalling will not use all of the boost from the ramp so the trick boost + boost from ramp will overlap, losing time. On MT, it's incredibly minor, it's not required, but it's just a tad faster.

last boost ramp (MT): if you don't high trick+slowfall, you will land on an upward facing slope, making you lose a lot of time (it's a lot more than you might think)

PPS: because I think I get a little bit of the trick boost if I slowfall

On rCM wouldn't it make more sense to use your 2nd and 3rd shroom at the glider out of the mall?  You could get the boost like on dkj, and at the regular shroom spot you don't actually go slower if you don't shroom.

You could also save it for lap 3 incase you go too fast for the escalator on the right.

Hi, quick noob question, a few of us are playing Luigi Mansion on another forum and wondering why the WR doesn't trick off the top of the ramp entering the castle?

I seem to be able to get quite a low tick consistently off the top which is massively quicker than fast falling for me.
