It’s obviously much faster than trying to turn around. You already have your ass towards the goal.

You'd still have to turn a bit in order to avoid hitting the wall hard, and your speed is much lower when driving backwards so it doesn't look THAT obvious to me. You might be right though so I'll give it a try.

You can also go on mobile.twitter or whatever the mobile version is and do right click → Inspect element → Network and click “Media”, the vid will show up there on a refresh.

Yea, I mean that one. But it's like the hardest shortcut ever. I've only done it with aligning my kart and then still I don't make it every time. To do it with no stop and make it three times is like a mission near-impossible. And maybe you won't even cut any time with it at all.
Well, maybe if someone tries this and manages to do the shortcut, maybe they could tell me how much time it saves. I don't think it'll be any more than a tenth of a second. So yea, the odds of making this shortcut are like one in a thousand tries, and to do that three times in a row, is almost impossible. And, even if it indeed cuts some time, then everything else would need to be perfect too if you want a new SR.
So yea it's impossible Lips Sealed

I don't think it's faster, because you have to use your shroom much closer to the end of the turn. Otherwise the grass will slow you down and you fall.

Yea, I agree. I'm actually into this. I mean, right now you only NEED a boost on the first turn and the third. The cut with the grass, I've seen that the pro's can do that shroomless, and you also don't need a shroom for the cut with the glider. And there's no other spots to use one, right?
Well maybe then my strat could work?? I have no idea though, I'm not an expert Time Trialist, so maybe some top players could try this out for a MC flap? Pls try it, it could just work I think Undecided

Do a SMT in the first turn
Get the coin on the ramp
Make a MT after the bridge and use your first shroom immediately after that in the grass.
Use 2 shrooms in the big grass and try to get a SMT without driving in the grass again.
