Nintendo has enveiled at the LA Auto Show today 2 real-sized karts for the promotion of Mario Kart 7. The vehicles were designed by West Coast Customs (known for the Pimp my Ride TV shows)
People could take pictures of themselves with the karts. Reggie was there too...

The best part ? You can WIN one of these karts as a GameStop PowerUp Reward. To be eligible you just need to buy the game in store or onlne during the month of December. NA only of course.

I will be utterly jealous of the guy who will win this, the karts just look awesome. Shocked

Reminds me of the guy who won a Sonic Clock for Sonic 4 Episode 1. He then destroyed part of the clock and sold it on Ebay to at least get some money out of it (he apparently wasn't a fan). A fan won the clock, added some minor things to make the clock look better, and then sent it back to Sega (who then repaired it) as a gift b/c the fan was so disgusted by what the guy did. Sega then sold the clock on Ebay and put 100% of the profits towards the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

And I just found out that my sister has the Power Up reward thing...guess I know what I'm using when the game is released.
