Mario Kart MB - 'A' button problem

'A' button problem

I tried MKDS on my 3ds, just for a bit of simulation practice for mk7, but I find that I'm accidentally letting go of the 'A' button for short moments. Also, if I can manage to go a minute without this happening, my thumb starts to feel uncomfortable. The button release especially happens when I press 'R' multiple times. It's not like I'm trying to get 1'000 MTs.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I really want to get this sorted before MK7 is out. I don't want this issue ruining 80% of my time trial attempts.

I'm afraid I've never had this problem. If you want, take a picture of how you hold the 3ds while tting, and I'll compare to how I hold it?

Access to all the buttons are fine, including L and R, I don't know, my thumb just doesn't like the way the 'abyx' buttons are on the 3ds. Didn't have the problem on DSi though, so uh.... not sure, lol.

I used to do that with the classic controller and it often caused me to release the A button momentarily costing me a lot of time. If you're currently doing this try to start using the top of your thumb instead. If this isn't the problem then IDK.

That same thing started with my GCN pad around May, not often though.
