Yeah, ^ this. A channel dedicated only for this game would be clearer for the Youtube audience. The name would be "MK7records" or something like that.
The concept is along the line of what Fried did, but with improvements.
The problem with wrvids during the MKW era was that Fried stopped submitting MKW videos after only a few months, and we had to wait many weeks for someone to seriously take over the task of uploading WR's (RR'D). This was because he is the only one to have access to his channel, even though many of his videos were recorded by other people.
With multiple guys at the control, the chances of the channel being let down are significantly diminushed, and in case some of them want to know, we would recruit new recorders on the way.
And of course we would advertise the PP to gather more players.

I think WRs and regional records only will be enough, especially for the first few months after the game's release. I think the channel would really be overloaded with tons of vids if you're going to do more than that. Unless ofcourse you find enough volunteers so you can divide them over the different playlists.
I see a system like:
1. People that work together in a team to keep 1 playlist updated
2. People that are in charge of multiple playlists, then they can keep an eye out for mistakes made by people in category 1 / basically make sure that it looks good. Something similar as a final/chief editor does in a newspaper.
3. Channel owner: your task, Mick, is to make sure the system runs smoothly. It also isn't necesarry that you're the only one, you can also divide this task over two people.
This roughly what I have in mind, although not as much elaborate. A number of 4 to 6 players would be active enough while making the communication between them easier, for more efficienty.
We can always elaborate the system if the whole thing work, but if the folks at NinBuzz can do it, we should too ! (Btw Troy I think you're a member of the NinBuzz team, if you are who I think you are... how does it work over there ?)
