I agree with Zwiebel. Completely ban any external influences at make it obvious on the main site. We have the luxury of hindsight - seeing how badly MKW was handled should really help in making sure the same doesn't happen here. IMO separate charts should be created at the very beginning. Even if a glitch doesn't surface at all, it will still be better than having continuous squabbles over non-sc charts like the MKW board went through for over a year.

While I probably won't be getting this game, I still feel for those who will have to put up with the inevitable wave of 12 year olds. Good luck  

Ya enjoy the new wave of kids.  It's up to you posters here to groom them into respectable board members.  Any new kart game will always draw a newer younger crowd.  That will happen for the rest of eternity, because eventually these random children will be running this place in who knows how long.  It's a constant cycle of old coexisting with and eventually being replaced by new.  Very few people remain timeless and stay on posting here for life.  So just live with the reality of the situation and make the kids into good posters.  Flame and attack them when they do wrong to correct them (lol).  This will keep them in check and then they will hopefully develop into better posters.

As for MVT's suggestion of flaming and attacking until the kids are in line, that's really no good unless you leave an explanation as well, or the kids will just become flamers as well.

Back on topic, there should be seperate charts for non-SC and SC, with non-SC as the main. MKW charts proved nothing, because the Players Page accepted glitched times on the main chart, so SC became the main. If seperate charts were implemented in the beginning, there would be non-SC times and it could easily have been the main. If a player wanted to do a glitch, they still could. Players would rather compete on something more players can do, rather than something that involves too much luck(MC glitch anyone?). Also, better lines > consistent glitches.

AFAIK, there is no way to use cheats with 3DS games atm.

I should point out to Liam that what Alaktorn means by cheating is lying, not modding the game or anything like that.

^You don't get ALAKTORN's post right. Whether it's true or not that you won't cheat in MK7, his guess is that you'll still cheat in other games though.
