Just a couple of the million problems by town. I didn't play perfect and i think it was one of the hardest games i've played so far but that was due to town being poor, not mafia being great.

Roles:

Zwiebel - Mr. Krabs, INDEPENDENT Serial Killer. (Could kill once a night, shows up innocent on scans, wins if last one standing).

The Mafia:

Fank - Plankton, MAFIA Untargetable. (Any night actions directed at him would fail, only way he dies is by a lynch.)
Padz - King Neptune, MAFIA Strongman. (Has one additional night kill that he can use once, can't be stopped.)
Flo - Dirty Bubble, MAFIA Roleblocker. (Can prevent one person a night from performing a night action).
Mihawk - Man Ray, MAFIA Vanilla. (No special power).

The Village:

RVZ - Spongebob, TOWN Jack. (Has a protect, scan, and roleblock, can use once each).
KoopZ - Sandy, TOWN Cop. (Can scan one person a night, finds out if they are guilty or innocent).
The Gaff - Mrs. Puff, TOWN Doctor. (Can protect one person a night, prevents them from night kills).
Sportsguy - Patrick, TOWN Jailkeeper. (Can jail one person a night, protects them from all night actions and prevents them from doing an action).
Ivootjes - Larry, TOWN Vigilante. (Could kill twice in the game, but not on consecutive nights).
Kev - Squidward, TOWN Miller Roleblocker. (Like the mafia roleblocker, but sided with the village. Appears guilty on scans).
Silver - Mermaid Man, TOWN Mayor. (Can PM me to stop one lynch, resulting in a no lynch. Could not prevent his own lynch).
Mr.Nosey - Gary, TOWN Bulletproof. (Can survive one night kill in the game, on the second kill he dies).
Fababu - Jellyfish, TOWN Vanilla.
Thiradell - Oyster, TOWN Vanilla.
J-Cop - Scallop, TOWN Vanilla.

Night actions:

Night 1:

Zwiebel kills RVZ.

RVZ does nothing.
KoopZ does nothing.
The Gaff protects J-Cop. (Fails, blocked by Kev)
Sportsguy jails Ivo.
Ivo kills Fababu. (Fails, jailed by Sportsguy)
Kev roleblocks The Gaff.

Fank kills Sportsguy.
Flo roleblocks Ivo. (Fails, Ivo is jailed by Sportsguy)

Night 2:

Zwiebel kills Padz.

KoopZ scans Padz. (guilty)
The Gaff protects Zwiebel. (Fails, blocked by Flo)
Ivo does nothing.

Fank kills Zwiebel.
Padz strongkills Ivo.
Flo roleblocks The Gaff.

Night 3:

Fank killz KoopZ.

Rest of the night actions don't matter. All Fank had to do was not kill Mr.Nosey (who he knew was BP because everyone claimed) and the mafia would win.

Good game, the Village got fucked over for several reasons which I'll post about in a second.

First of all, KoopZ not using his night action the first night was fucking retarded. IDK why he did it, he claimed to forget about the game but he posted on Day 1. I have no idea why he didn't use his scan but he didn't. Then on N2 he got a guilty on Padz, who happened to die because of the SK kill.

Same with RVZ, I have no idea why he didn't do a night action on N1. I decided against giving him the usual protect scan kill because I didn't think Spongebob with a kill would look right. So I replaced his kill with a roleblock. Irrelevant since he didn't use anything on N1, and he died anyway.

Ivo using a vig kill on an inactive N1 surprised me. I thought he of all people would be more cautious. Luckily Sportsguy jailed him, but Fab got MK'd anyway the next day. I don't think Fab even checked his role PM, as I still had the call back option highlighted after he died. Oh well. I sent him a PM at the start of D2 but he never responded to that either. Mafia ALMOST killed Ivo the first night, so Sportsguy woulda saved two townies. At the last minute they switched to Sportsguy.

Mafia got lucky to block Gaff N2, he saved Zwiebel, who actually told me the entire mafia team after he died in an MSN convo. He had everyone nailed. Granted he couldn't kill Fank at night but still. Fank never had one action targeting him. He might as well have been Vanilla.

Honestly I've been getting a lot of complaints from the mafia (especially Fank), about balance. Personally I thought this game was very balanced, maybe favoring the village a little if everyone used their powers right. Fank was very pissed about the safe claim list. I didn't leave any general sea creatures like anchovy or nematode on the list. This was because I didn't want them to have to claim Vanilla, or at least, they'd have to find out the pattern on their own. The characters I left them all fit with the rest of them, or at least they weren't too farfetched. Him calling me a bastard mod is quite funny when he was the one who added a fucking cult into his game and never told town anything.

So those are just some of my random thoughts. Well played by mafia, but seriously, lynching Gaff the final day was hilarious, he was unCC'd doc. And what game wouldn't have a doctor?

Oh yeah and Fank's D1 post of every possible role in the game was probably the worst post I've ever seen. I'm surprised no one suspected him after that because I woulda snap lynched him. What villager/townie would actually try speculating every role in the game on the very first day? Rolefishing at its finest.

I do think this game woulda been closer if Village actually used their powers properly, and even if maf didn't block Gaff this game woulda still been close. Zwiebel knew the entire mafia team somehow.

i honestly did forget about the game, and i can't apologize enough. i had found the game open shortly after it started and made a post basically to get myself going, and then forgot about it all on monday and tuesday just due to life. i had asked brett multiple times to try and get a sub for me cuz i really didn't have the time to put into the game, but obviously that didnt work so i just did the best i could.

worst luck having padz killed the night that i scanned him. should've known i was going to die the next night anyway, but oh well.

brett, it was a very good game and thanks for hosting.

if/when i host a game again, i'm going to do a low power game, i think. i've already got ideas...

1st off... Yes i did think the game was a bit bastardly... Maf never really had any safe claims... All the main characters were the accounted for in the power roles... maybe we could have squeezed barnacle boy in.
Now... Bout the set up... It was actually quite balance... nearly exactly what i thought it might have been. (in terms of power roles...) EXCEPT for one little kink... Vanilla tonwies IMO being named townies. That imo made the scales too sensitive... and thats why IT SHIFTED from about 80% to 15% (and kept dropping the more Flo talked)

Now Day 3...
1st off.... Flo Asking everyone to mass claim...

2nd... I told flo... Wait for mihawk after j-cop switched votes... Votes the gaff at 1st minute he on...

so... its with 1:30 until end of day... it becomes a waiting game....
at this time Flo and mihawk were clearly maf and i think i was on thin ice....
In my mind... only mihawk hammering it would make us win...
so... 30 mins to go... koopz comes on... my heart sinks... koopz does nothing... *wipes brow*
with 10 mins to go... I see Third online... i saw him post and i was like ... damm thats it... but it read this...

F, so I got 2/3 and went with the wrong one. We should've just lynched Mihawk.

Gaff is, without a doubt, the worst mafia player I've ever seen. I was leaning all over the place (freakin' second-to-last on the list, for realz) and he had to play a horrible day 3. Sad

Game was balanced fine, main problem was inactive people. Fab was modkilled, Kev was lynched for being pretty much inactive, and KoopZ failed to use a hugely important power on night 1. Town would've been fine if everyone had done more, I think.

Nice game, Brett! I'm up for another one whenever it happens.

Final thoughts...
Hmmm... Maybe i tried to hard to be noticed... making my role ineffective. hey... i wonder why people didnt suspect me for not posting 50 posts a day Tongue

I really couldnt post 50 times a day other wise it would have been spam...

I tried to be a bit more sarcastic in my play than i normally am... (just a bit Tongue

) I was a bit nervous and dumbfounded on what to do... But i decided to have a go at gaff... It made me happy and took some heat off me. Tom did play very strangely for being doc...
every other time hes had a power hes played more passively... He tried to play with more authority this game. Thats what made me think he was doc... thats why we blocked him... then koopz claimed and threw my idea out the window... I was subconcious hammering him cause of the possibilty he may be a bomb... But with no doc it semi made sense... I didnt see mrs puff being a doc. Thankfully due to his new playing style everyone was in agreeance with me and we were able to hammer...

Jcop... Youve earnt my respect as a maf player... take this MVP award...

Flo... Dont ask me how we got through Day 3 with your stupid plays... But we still did it Cheesy

Although I disliked Brett being too generic with Towns roles this game... He did a great job with the setup and did a great job hosting.... Thanks for hosting brett...

Now... Of all The spongebob tracks i could use... Im not decided Tongue

At MVT... yeah... that describes how town played entirely
