Ok, I'll explain it better because I just wrote you one sentence about the game on skype so you weren't supposed to completely understand the game with this...
At the beginning you are sent a role by PM : You are either vanilla or mafia. Some of mafia people and some of vanilla people have special roles and it will be precised in the PM you'll will receive.
these special roles are mainly special powers you can use during the night if you're not killed or lynched. So for example, someone (rather mafia) can roleblock someone else so that the other guy can't use his power during the night, an other one (rather vanilla) can scan a person during the night and know what role this person has, etc...
Vanilla are supposed to kill mafia and vice versa. The game ends when all the players from one of the teams are all dead.

BUT, mafia are supposed to kill one person each night and they all know each other. They know who is in their team and they know who is not. So they decide all together to pick someone to kill... Whereas vanilla don't know who is mafia and who is not. So they need to find, from what everyone (mafia behaving as vanilla + vanilla) says during the day, who could probably be mafia and who is definitely not. You may find some suspicious posts, and point out what you find etc...

That's more or less what you need to know about this game for now.

This isn't a very simple set up. However I'm fairly sure it's balanced. Not something that's way too one sided. There's a lot of powers on both sides.

Also I didn't respond earlier because I was at college all day last two days.

The game would be full if he'd just put me, Clark, padz, and the Gaff on the list.

I'll join, I still don't understand it fully, but I'm sure I'll get the grasp of it quickly and find it fun.
