The only way you would know for sure is if you were scanner. You either scanned third ( even though you SHOULD) have scanned brett because you thought he was maf d1, or you are a shitty mafia player.

Where is this rule where i have to scan who i openly post is suspicious? You don't think i find more than one person suspicious?

You seem to instantly regard Tom as town. Despite his crazy role claim (he claimed Princess, and then his role description COMPLETELY does not match what a Princess actually does in this game). He instantly took your side as well, and I found Tom very scummy yesterday so I see no reason why you both aren't mafia trying to push on a lynch to end this game right now.

However Third's response doesn't sit well with me, which is another reason that I'm conflicted.

Good game.

I'm Ganondorf, mafia godfather. I'm the only mafia in the game.

Played as well as I could, didn't really know what to say when I got outed. Pretty annoyed at Jamie for not voting on day 2, but that was probably just wise on his part. VERY annoyed that Sports apparently has a changing power and on the day he could scan he scanned me.

My post saying "one more vote makes a maj lynch is fine" was sort of responding to myself when I called out Gaff for voting me in the same situation. I was "fine" with it because I (in the game) had a strong mafia lean on him, whereas he didn't mention any suspicions of me.

My thoughts on the game

It wasn't easy for me to set everything up fine and make things balanced, because 6 players isn't ideal for a Mafia lineup(7 is much easier, 2 Maf 5 Town). 2 Mafia with killing ability would have been too strong, since Town would have to make every lynch correct, because mislynching at 4-2 will immediately result in a Mafia win(if Doc doesn't save the correct person). Since even 1 Mafia has good chances to win in a 6 player game, I decided for a 5-1 structure.

After some research of other setups with 6 players, I even found that in a 5-1 game without powers chances are around 51% Mafia and 49% Town(so Mafia is even in favour!), but only Vanilla would have been boring. So I decided to give every person in the game with a Triforce fragment(Zelda, Link, Ganondorf) one special power. I tired to make it so that every side can use their roles effectively.

Ganondorf became a roleblock, because he should at least have the chance to either block the scan or the save of either Link or Zelda, because both being there without a chance for being blocked would have been too overpowered for Town. Like this, I think I found a compromise that was fine for both sides. I admit that the game was slightly in favour for the Town, but not that much imo(I'm open for any discussion, it's been my first Mafia hosting anyway).

About the game itself, Sportsguy picked the right person to scan, but it was close...if Brett and Gaff wouldn't have talked to Moon Man, he might have voted Gaff out and things could have worked out a lot different. At the point where Sportsguy got the guilty, the game was nearly lost for Thiradell. He got a safe claim list from me (Rauru, Jabu-Jabu, Naboru, Navi) but chances were much worse. He could have claimed Miller, but I doubt that would have helped much.

Also, No lynch was the best option for D1, Town played pretty good with that one imo. Otherwise it would probably have been 3-1 and Third could have counterclaimed cop, getting Sportsguy lynched and then make a night kill(if he killed Gaff then, that would have resulted in a Town win though...Town Princess role, anyone? He could have used it N2 anyway).

All in all I'm pretty happy with the game, even if it was quiet short. Maybe next time a bigger game if people want it. Otherwise, I had my fun and I hope you enjoyed the game Smiley

Brett, good job. You taught me that i need to look into things like motif behind actions.
Thiradell, im not to judge here but i saw the nk on me as an unwise choice. Anyone who knows me knows i would have pushed for a brett or sportsguy lynch. Could have been worthwhile picking jamie or tom.
Speakin bout thegaff, knowing what your role was, i would have given huge hints i was a power to draw the roleblock. Dont think he would have done a double wammie. Oh well, to each his own.
