OK for the people who want to know what happened and didn't have the time to watch the replay of the stream, I wrote down everything that happened (I was the only person watching at the time):

BC1 41"88 - he got it after 10 mins, was his third best time in his top 5. He took a corner very wide in lap 3.
PC flap 12"90 - first turn could be better. He got this in 3 tries.
MC flap 15"50 - made this in his first try. 1 bad turn where he almost hit a tree.
RKB2 9"41 opener - followed by a very scary laugh (a bit like muahaha) and "what you gonna do now Chris? what you gonna do now, hu?"
and then 9"38 a few tries later.
BL - he didn't finish any run, but the conclsuion was BL is bullshit.
MC4 flap 12"87 world record tie. Last shroom could be a bit earlier.

We also talked about the music. I found out he most hates RKB1/2 and CCI music. RR was the best, but it "still sucked balls".
He mostly likes MK64 and MKDD music.

I included this last part to show that he was interacting with me.

Hey guys, I think I might be able to stream live attempts with hands showing at 2:00 for an hour or hour and a half if anyone is interested. I'm not going to bother using a chat stream to communicate; I'll likely hang out on irc.wrvids.com

I've devised a way that I might be able to point my webcam with one computer and use another computer to watch myself play/read the chat log. Might take some work but yeah. I'm on the chat right now.

I'll very probably be streaming another GP speedrun attempt starting at 7-7:15 (so in about an hour) at the same location as linked in the above post. Once again, feel free to drop by and watch me fail some basic SCs (most noticeably CL that I can't seem to land)/get trolled by CPUs and items. If you like what you see and want to watch me again, I recommend that you subscribe to my channel so that you know when I start streaming, as most my sessions are spontaneous and I don't announce them here.

Also, I'd really appreciate it if you do a GP speedrun attempt or two and tell me your time (splits are awesome as well) so that I can compare myself to other karters, especially top players as that also allows me to tell non-karters who drop by what the "WR" is. As an indication, Mick and I have each finished one attempt so far: he got 1:05:45 and I got 1:06:28. My personal goal is at least sub-hour.
