Play both Bowser and Toad, make me weaker?

I play both Bowser and Toad will that make me weaker? I mean if i play with Toad i learn how to control him. But there is big difference with him and Bowser. What do you think? Is there really big difference with the speed? I don't think i will reach the top 10 anyway. Would be nice if we could make a list of the Best Toad race.

PS: Sorry for bad english (worst subjekt in school).

In simpler terms, this means that Bowser is considerably faster than Toad everywhere. On some courses this difference will stand out more than others.

Toad may have some advantages, but Bowser is the character used in almost every single World Record, for a reason. I would suggest using him on pretty much every course.

I used to be a hardcore Toad user. (And Hahaae still is.) It takes some getting used to, but it's worth it.

Try to make it a habit to use Bowser and get used to his handling. DK is also good and has slightly better cornering and off-road, certainly a preferable alternative on twisty courses if you can't take certain turns as Bowser without slowing down. DK is the second fastest character. Practice finding the best drifting lines, pretty much every turn can be taken with DK without reducing speed if your line is correct (learning when to start drifting is the key).

And if you really need to, use Mario, the fastest non-heavyweight. Don't use Toad, he's just too slow. There are rare instances though where an advanced strat is done better with a light charcter (typically aerial courses like RR or RGV3) but I don't think you're ready for this yet.

Also steer clear of Wario. His cornering is no better than DK's and he's slower as well. A lose-lose situation. I use to make this mistake.

I hate Mario and those Middle wighter. I have to push myself to play more Bowser even if that will slow down with making new PRs for a moment. It is not funny if you make a perfect toad time but have to make a better with bowser and haven't played him yet. I agree the RR short cut is very hard. I have only clear the 2 bumpers in that one. I do not really know what SC you mean at RGV3. I can fix the bumper SC without problem. The SC after the bumper is very hard indeed. And the last i haven´t tested yet.

T-Man Ex Member	Re: Play both Bowser and Toad, make me weaker? Reply #9 - 05/11/11 at 13:56:26 I use Bowser on 39/40 courses (DK on RBC3). I would stay the FUCK away from Yoshi, Toad & Peach. they all suck balls unless if you use Toad on SC I use Luigi in the past (2002-04?)
