Online Leaderboard Site Plugging

When MKW came out I went and registered mkwpp.com and set it up as a parked domain for the MKW site. Once we know the character limit for MK3DS online names and if people are willing to list their name in the charts as the redirect URL I would be willing to go out and purchase another domain so people can use it to plug the site.

mk3ds.com is taken and mk3dspp.com might be too long. mk3ds.net is available.

Any suggestions? Would people be willing to use the redirect url like we had for MKW?

I wouldn't mind mk3dspp.com but mk3ds.net is clearer, imo. Not that I'm thinking about using it anyway.

Online leaderboard plugging is a great idea. Moritz's LC Regional Top time right around the release of MKW was what got me on these forums and in this community.

I would wait until the game comes out as others have said to secure the domain, however maybe the site can start being built off of the loose template of others, (not sure if it has already) just so a substitution of track names and other game info can be swapped in later.

www.mk3dpp.com is fine with me, regardless of length I'll just bookmark it or use the link at the top of the forum, so if you're concerned about huge character length I wouldn't me.

Look at www.mariokartwii.com, thousands of trolls and the URL is twice as long as our sites.

EDIT - maybe for the top bar on the forums, you can slide SMK's logo down so it's on the same level as the logo, push the other five in the middle, and put MK3DS exactly opposite of SMK instead of shrinking them, just an idea.
