Backstory: It appeared tonight, Friday, March 11 on one of 4chan's fora (won't specify) and the page was hacked so that anytime one would toggle or refresh pages, it would load and start. It had 14k views when I first saw it around 9pm, but has already skyrocketed to 90k views in the 4.5 hours since.
Trolling is my area of expertise. I can't discern whether this is a rich, spoiled girl, who just happened to make a song and a music video and uploaded it for her 1000s of friends because she is super popular and wants to become a pop star, or whether it is simply a production of great trolls and the whole thing was staged by professionals as a joke.
When I search Rebecca Black, I can't find any artist page that suggests she is a real, signed performer to a label with any sort of credibility. However, the channel has several other music videos from comparable "artists" and the website arkmusicfactory.com has comparable information. Again, these could all be staged as some form of elaborate troll.
