1) Once at a piano recital, the player right in front of me in the order tripped on his way to the piano and faceplanted into the floor. He went on to play his piece rather well though.
Fabricated. The inspiration to this though came from a similar experience. I tripped on the way to the piano at a recital, and if I do say so myself, made a rather impressive recovery from falling.
2) When I went to my first Standard Achievement Test center, I spaced out and drove the wrong way on the interstate causing me to be late, forgot my student ID in the car, and was sent to building F, room 6, seat 13.
True. What a day...
3) At mile 23 of a marathon I was running in recently, we ran on a trail beside the road. Before we merged back to regular roads and neighborhood running, I counted at least 3 ambulances go by on the street. At this point, I decided to turn my iPod back on again.
Fake. I did hear three ambulances go by on mile 23, but I had no iPod to turn back on. At that point I rather wanted it though.
4) I have always been a numbers guy. Therefore, if you asked me what my PR in MKWii was on any course, despite having been retired there for over 6 months, I could tell you what it is without looking it up.
False. I can remember lots of numbers, and I have three page numbers memorized atm for books, lots of MKSC times memorized, special numbers in math memorized and formulas, and the list goes on and on. But I forgot the MKWii PRs a while ago to make room for other things.5) My family and I have moved 6 times since my birth, 3 of which were intercontinental moves.
True. Chicago, IL - Perth, Australia - somewhere else in Perth - somewhere else in Perth - Manila, Philippines - nearby county in NC - where I am now.6) I injured myself in soccer once by spraining my ankle. Unfortunately, my team doctor did not recognize this and suggested I walk it off. I tried of course, but it didn't get better. After being on the injured list for over 6 weeks, that doctor was replaced.
True. They thought I was putting on a show because our team was losing by 3 goals. Fortunately now though, people listen when I say I'm hurt. lol J-Cop wins.
