Had to split into 2 posts.
1. I have been in the newspaper.
True. I was in it a few times for track and once for an interview about an amusement park. The reporter saw my sister and I and went on the ride with us and took a picture and talked about the park.2. I have been on TV.
True. My elementary school was on the news for some reason and I purprosely stood in the path of the camera
3. I own a trophy from playing the Yugioh TCG.
True. I won it back in '05 I think. I was ranked the highest in the store I went to and won 2 booster boxes of cards.4. I have a very vast collection of Yu Yu Hakusho TCG cards and own every card in the game.
True. I own a copy of every card in the game, even a copy of a card that only less than 50 were made and I own 2 copies of another that only has about 20 in existence. I am still trying to finish out getting foil variations of every card and am much further along than any other known person.5. I earned a scholarship in high school that covered at least 80% of my college fees.
True. I qualified for the NJ STARS program that covered my tuition for 2.5 yrs at a community college and 2 years at a university.6. I passed my Praxis exam on my first try.
True. In fact, I did so well I earned an award for it. This will make getting a teaching job easier for me.7. Once, I answered "pickles" to a math teacher when asked to answer a question.
Hilariously, this is true. It happened in middle school when I wasn't paying attention and never heard the correct answer choice. So, I simply answered pickles, which was the only option I heard.8. I snuck into a theater once.
True, but it wasn't my idea. I was friends with a guy that works there and he pretty much made me do it. Given my luck, a cop came into the theater after hearing that people snuck into the theater. As he was approaching me, my friend intercepted saying he already checked my ticket and then the cop walked away.9. I have been pulled over only two times.
True. One for going over a white solid line and the other for speeding. I got them both pled down.10. My right pinky finger never grew properly and is shaped like an arch.
True. It just never grew properly and no one really knows why.11. I once won a free pizza pie for me and 2 friends when in middle school.
True. Every week my History teacher would post riddles and things on his website for students to solve. If you attempted it, you got extra credit but there was always an additional prize for the winner of the lotto drawing between all those that got the answer right. When I got it right once and heard my name on the announcements, I had to go to the main office to find out what my prize was. The entire office clapped for me (which, in truth, was VERY weird) and then I was told I won a free pizza pie. I got to eat it during lunch the next week in the main office (where students wouldn't try to steal....b/c they so would).12. I never officially got injured running track.
True. Although I did get injured, I never reported my injury and kept running. The injury went away on its own.13. I still play Wii Sports (not Resort).
True. My friend and I play it every Friday, along with Super Mario Strikers, SSBB, MKW, and Pocket Tanks.14. I hate the holidays.
True. The holidays can blow me. They're only useful for days off.15. I own a world record in a game outside of Mario Kart.
True. Mad Gear Zone Act 2 (Super Sonic) in Sonic the Hedgehog 4.16. I have extremely good balance and have only fallen twice in my life.
As crazy as it sounds, this is true. My sense of balance is practically godly. The only 2 times I ever fell was once in mud at the start of track practice (in front of the entire girls track team
) and once over a root from a tree that stuck at least 6 inches high from the ground (I thought it was a stick and went to run through it...).17. Once I have beaten the main story of a game, unless I really like it, I won't ever go back to it.
False! Even if a game is mediocre, I will complete all side quests and play the game out to the maximum. I am a completionist.18. During elimination volleyball in my gym class, it was me vs a team of 6. I eliminated 5 of them before finally tiring out and losing.
True. I was very good at volleyball in high school but never joined the team b/c I'd get rejected solely b/c I am 5'3. The 5 people I eliminated were good, but not that good. The last guy was the best player in the class.19. In my tennis class I took to fulfill my Phys Ed requirement at my community college, this girl and I won the Doubles tournament against our classmates.
True. It was also worth extra credit if we won. She was the best female player in the class and quite a looker to boot!20. This is truly 19 facts and 1 lie.
This is true, obviously. If it weren't, then all the choices would be the same.
