Fenner also posted 3 courses for every game which makes a grand total of 18 retro courses, which is 6 too many. I guess his post is just a complete troll Huh

Reused a course and completely ignored the courses shown in the demo, hmm...

And no chance of SMC1 / SMC3 Unreal, but if there is a SMC2 / SMC4 then you can do what you do best there Smiley

I hope MK3DS doesn't make the same mistake as previous karts. MKW picked the uttermost worst courses from the DS version. I hope 3DS doesn't pick the worst courses out of MKW to follow on the tradition. MT isn't one I approve of in MKW (due to the pathetic programming of this course in this game) but if all the bugs and errors are fixed it seems like a solid course, so there is hope.

How much I agree ! (except for Peach Gardens which I think was decent, I also liked YF but not much the retro version). LM and AF are better already.
Maple Treeway looks okay to me, but only playing the track will tell us if it is a good port or not...
I am a bit confident for the retro tracks overall this time, since some bad or uninteresting tracks were already used before, and as long as F8C isn't in I'm fine Grin

Only DDD, SL, WC, RR and DDJ (I think?) have not been used (plus the 3 I want). For the other retro ones I just want an interesting track. They have started well with AF and LM from MKDS though.

It would be pretty neat to add things like that to some of the retro tracks (much like they added blue zippers in the halfpipe area on GCN Waluigi Stadium on the Wii).

SMK: Vanilla Lake 1, Mario Circuit 2, Choco Island 1.

MK64: Kalimari Desert, Yoshi Valley.

MKSC: Riverside Park, Mario Circuit.

MKDD: Dino Dino Jungle, Dry Dry Desert.

MKDS: Airship Fortress, Luigi's Mansion, Shroom Ridge, Waluigi Pinball.

MKW: Maple Treeway, Koopa Cape, Moo Moo Meadows, DK Summit.

I kinda just guessed based on trends. There's gotta be a desert course and a snow course, one retro will probably have cars and for manual's sake I hope it's Shroom Ridge. I debated between Yoshi Desert or Dry Dry Desert for the desert course, and I used DK Summit for the snow course. You know Nintendo will remake some Mario Circuits, MKW had 3 in the retros. There's also usually some water/beach course or something like that. I threw Moo Moo Meadows in there for the hell of it because Nintendo is lame enough to remake that.

same here. MK64 and MKDD are running low on tracks. if they did 4 here and 4 more on the WiiU MK, those games would be totally gone after that. part of the appeal of the retro cups is seeing tracks from all the past games.
