Well I have the game and from Time Trial point of view there is no list of your five best times like in Mario Kart Wii and as far as I can see there is no easy way of keeping track of your fastest lap. Also is there a way to watch your fastest run like in MKWii because it looks like we are stuck with the rubbish replay if not.

Overall gameplay is good though just a shame that these features are missing.

As far as we know, you're stuck with one of two rubbish replays. It's clear the developers completely abandoned the time trial element of the game. Not saving your best five times is a slight disappointment, but not saving best laps is just ludicrous. Angry

Quoting your own post after 25 minutes is stupid.

Nothing is official. People are still only experimenting with characters, and knowing if something is "official" when pretty much no one has unlocked all possible specifications for karts is impossible. We'll know in a few weeks, or maybe even months.

You did better than me there Rob I didnt spot the in car replay. Its not ideal but at least its better than the birds eye view, I think I will use this replay to record. I agree fully about the top five list and flap, its a massive loss in my opinion. I have also noticed that the Grand Prix are not timed on this one?!

^The GPs weren't timed in MKW either. MKDS and MKDD were the only ones where GPs were timed, so it's not much of a surprise that they haven't timed them in this one.

I agree that first person view is better than bird's eye, but you still can't really see what techniques the player is employing, so it may be hard to learn strats from videos.

Strange how Nintendo won't go to the effort to save best lap times, yet they'll make two completely different viewing angles just for showing replays. Smiley
