In the latest video there is one part where a boulder is rolling towards you. On the turn before that you can cut the grass with a shroom.

First shroomspot claimed.

Spindrifting seems faster on EVERY corner

I found a way to get 0.030 laps.

by the time everyone else gets their hands on this there wont be any strats left to find!

Mushroom Gorge, I need a bit of help (might be general glider help actually).

I watched the video where he bounces off the last blue mushroom to activate the glider. As he nears the exit of the cave somewhere it appears he shrooms then shoots vertically upwards. Then veers left and still has enough height to get round to the road by finish line sharp.

Now at the shroom part i dont get any uplift. I have tried pressing shroom and down (to point the nose up), but it does hardly much vs the ghost, then i turn left in the air and a few times i can just make it to the road, mostly i lose air speed and plummet.

I have tried pressing R aswell but no lift, it sorta sinks me instead; its clearly not a hard strat or button combination so i must be doing something wrong. Also on RBC1 there is that ramp on the last corner in the lava, i can never make it to that with glider but a ghost i raced against did it easily.

Anyway back to Mushroom Gorge can someone please explain the button combinations of what to press to get the kart enough lift in the air and make it round safely without falling down the ravine.

Hopefully its not more complicated than doing a Longboost on smk...

It could be but i had same kart combo as one of the ghosts that was doing it fine, so i thought im not pressing the buttons right.

Il wait for one of the MK7 WR holders to give their feedback, hopefully can sort it out quickly then get this timeset done.

Then part way up press left, or left and R, and do you let go of down at any stage?

Also is there a specific point when to action the hold back +shroom?
