Also@ jedi, I've been thinking the same thing, some people have been using red monster tyres like me, but others the medium ones.
At this stage in the game, I don't think it makes tooo much difference, but we'll found out soon when some tracks get closer to their optimal time.

the only thing that matters in TTs is the speed stat, except for a few offroad/underwater courses

so either Slick tires or Red Monster, then it also depends on the handling, with some parts it’s harder/impossible to charge red MTs where you can with others

edit: the “medium” tires you’re talking about are probably the Slick ones, which are racing-type tires, +1 speed, the fastest, Red Monster have −0.25 speed compared but have better handling, I think

people play with different setups simply because they haven’t unlocked everything anyway, it takes forever
