u sure your 22''22 PC8 nonNBT isn't a typo?! If not, do you finish the flap on the track or on the sand?

Is it generally allowed in nonNBT to skip that last long turn and go through the sand instead (without boosting of course!)?
I think I saw a vid of Karel going for this finish, but he didn't send that time in Undecided

Yeh Scoub and I redone the records driving round the longer way as he banned the sand thing in the end cos it is off road driving even if not NBT.

He hadn't touched SMK as he was busy away at University for a long time so was very rusty, hopefully hel play again soon.

Edit: They werent one tries, they were several on some of them, just takes time as it is a new game. Then we did a GP after just to see the funny ending, i got destroyed on PC5 despite 3 longboosts Cheesy

I'm not against Sean and I'll be happy if he got one awards

But I have to change a little bit the awards calculation because it's too easy to just enter bad one-try and have full points... and easy one-try are easy also to improve Undecided

So I enter a new rule : time over 115%WR give half points for the awards. Exception for the 5LAP in GP which is more difficult to have consistance => 132%

Here are the gap in Non-NBT for the Far West Cup and i think it's easy to reach
PC5 : 1'15"65/15"00 --- 1'13"94/12"34
DP4 : 1'36"34/18"78 --- 1'42"22/16"38
GV4 : 1'29"65/17"66 --- 1'29"00/14"35
BC4 : 1'45"72/20"73 --- 1'46"66/18"10
PC6 : 1'44"63/20"73 --- 1'45"31/17"36
etc...

I think the change is necessary for the awards credibility

Yeah I know it's hard to put that just the last day, but for the award consistency it's best to change that before the award attribution Embarrassed

But I'm pretty sure that Sean don't post his times for the POM. And from now he have yet the silver pom Wink

The calculation is automatic and try to evaluate the merit giving points. And for Sean when I see the level for his first SPK times (and knowing its actual level Lips Sealed

), I find that the giving points was too high for that performance.

I think the rule is a good rule and for most people here the 115% limit is (very) easy to reach on most tracks. When Sean will really work his TT times, I'm sure he'll gain another award Wink
