I know there's not a board, but I thought there'd atleast be a thread in here about it...

What do you guys think? will it suck or be okay? Some reckon it's gonna be a launch title, and that the 3DS will come in late november, but that isn't official yet... hopefully it's not rushed for launch. If it's anything like MK64 or MKDS I'm going to play the hell out of it.

there's some screenshots of it around somewhere too. they look pretty average though.

Random 3DS news if anyone is interested.

- February 26 release date in Japan, March for the US and Europe
- 25000 Yen launch price for Japan, no price given for the US and Europe
- Virtual Console for GB and GBA games, 3D is supported
- Can connect to WiFi automatically in sleep mode and download/update data
- Miis are included, user takes a picture of a face and a Mii is automatically created, which can later be edited
- Launch colors are "aqua blue" and "cosmo black"
- Tag mode will work right out of the box with no setup required (other than connecting to Wi-Fi, most likely)
- Memory notebook - "records the steps you take and shows them there"

Wow I just watched that and came here to post it.

Their hands clearly don't turn back and fourth, their karts gradually drift at a tighter angle making 'sparks'...

You're right, I too pronounce MK3D dead before it's even out.

Looks identical to wii.

well shit you're right.

the only argument i have is that the engine seems pretty fleshed-out already. i'm pretty sure they used mkwii's engine as a base which could go either way i suppose.

the 3DS has a slide pad which is just a squished joystick.
