Option to upgrade user account?

A lot of other sites have an option to pay some money to access exclusive features, special user emblems, special privaleges etc. (I.E. Mariokartwii.com has "VIP User" status for $9.95).

Maybe this site can consider this? I've always been wanting to contribute and help upkeep this site. This could be a way for me (and many others) to help. Thoughts?

^No, that is not the idea. The activity is fine. But an update like this could be productive.

-> mkwpp.com sells upgraded accounts at a regular charge per month/year to users who subscribe.

-> mkwpp.com uses the extra money to pay for a better site. (Handles more data, greater bandwidth, etc...)

-> mkwpp.com also uses money to advertise on Facebook and other social networking sites.

-> More people join. More people buy special membership.

-> Cycle repeats.

-> Administrator starts and runs something of a bank. Somewhere to set aside money gained by subscription sales. Site is now run primarily on user support with little cost to the admin.

-> Should activity decrease again, the system would only fall back to where it is right now.

And what could go wrong with this option? There is virtually no risk to the administrator to add this option.
