Colors and hyperlinks

So I was busy playing around with colors for the MKDD team competition and I think I discovered a board glitch: It seems colors don't display properly if they are preceded by a hyperlink.

Example:
If I link to something the following colored text will not be colored but the next colored text will be colored.

Code:
If I [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0]link to something[/url] the following [color=#ff6600]colored text[/color] will not be colored but the next [color=#ff00ff]colored text[/color] will be colored.

Notice that the first "colored text" should be in color.

Not a big issue but it's something I noticed.

Wow! That looks weird... I think it's rather a CSS problem than anything else though...

I'll have some test in here:

hello

If I link to www.google.fr and then...
I put this then this...

Edit: oh god indeed...
Even if we press enter... that's only the next colored link that won't work...
The previous color works though...

It probably has something to do with how the software

searches for yabbcode tags. Pressing enter to break a line may not make a difference because posts are stored as 1 line of text.

The above is a workaround: to color 3 words I make a 4th tag before them that just has a blank space and is invisible.

Oddly enough, the text will appear colored in the Live Preview box on Ben's example post.  There must be a difference between the parsers for those two, perhaps the difference could be spotted and corrected.
