getting the blue coins in this level, i remember that to be pretty challenging though. up on random clouds throughout the whole climb up the tower.
Mick wrote on 07/29/10 at 07:51:22:^ This. I didn't remember spending that much time on this one. If you are good and patient this should take only a few tries (I also agree blue coins were harder to get here).
In comparison the big manta boss took me more time to beat. I also remember some of the shines on the last stage (before Mt. Corona) to be tough task.
Should we make a SMS thread ?
The answer is definitely
yes, we should. And here it is.
For all of those who will never forget what is and will always be the best Mario 3D game ever, much better than his too highly acclaimed lack-of-flavour follower, Mario Galaxy, here is a thread dedicated to it.
First of all, I highly encourage all of you to visit the complete guide & walkthrough I wrote down for my website more than 7 years ago, even if it's in full French:
http://www.mario-museum.net/guide_sms.htmAnd then, let's keep on talking about that damn Sand Bird, indeed I have to agree with KoopZ, there are much harder moments in this game and terribly hard shines to get (I especially think about the one needing Yoshi for the final one in Ricco Harbor). But it remains in my mind one of the most epic parts of this game, at the same level as the poisoned river, the Pianta Village Mayor's rescue or the endless hotel maze.
Enjoy the place, shine addicts.
