I've been updating MKDS for almost 4 years, and I've occasionally updated MKW.

I am willing to do times update only; my english is too poor to write news updates, and I'm too ignorant to do the awards. I can just help to have the times updated daily (when I can).

Sorry I'm late replying to this but I was away for the last while. I think I could get time updates done every 1-2 days and if I won't be able to update, I will inform someone.

Ok, thank you all for the support, this is really quite overwhealming and its great that people are willing to lend a hand.

One question I forgot to ask, what is the best day for each of you to do times updates?

I know some of you are happy to do it a couple of times a week but technically there are 8/9 of us who can do the times updates so i'm thinking if everyone took a day of the week then we could have updating every day and yet no one woul get loads of work to do. Its easier to do a day of the week than a roster for this part of the updating.

So, do any of you have a preference for the day of the week?

For the written news, i'm thinking i'll nominate people per week rather than a specific day and we'll aim to do the update between friday and Monday.

I guess that is a good idea, but wouldn't having 7-9 people updating just get confusing and I don't think MKSC needs that many updaters. My suggestion would be four updaters, two of them time updaters, two of them news writers.

I could do it any day of the week. I can't see 7 people all sticking together and staying on schedule for very long either, so I'll be happy to pick up when they drop off.

I have to agree with Rob here -- MKSC isn't active enough to need 7 times updaters. From having done it by myself for the last probably several months, I can honestly say that one person can handle it, and maybe have one or two other people as a backup. By having 7 people doing it, I can guarantee only 3 people would ever do updating, and if someone messes up something, someone else has to go back and correct what the other person did, which tbh is a pain in the ass. I've been doing it alone for months now, and I'm happy to, and actually, I prefer to keep doing it as I have been if possible. I can keep doing it on Tuesdays as I have been, which so far has seemed to work well.

It's fantastic that so many people are interested, but really, we only need 3 people doing it tops -- myself and maybe two other people that have done it before for weeks that I'm not here to do it.

I agree with everything said above, but It would be great to have the news updated evey week though...

Having news updates every two weeks can leave out more minor details though that still may be interesting to talk about.

Doing it only every two weeks is being a bit lazy about it as it is, and longer updates also could leave out some people because they were only active the first week and not the second, and possibly lost their AF cut because of it.

Also, having weekly updates would make it easier to determine POW awards. Having two weeks mashed together would mean you don't know who made cuts in which week, and how big those cuts were.
