So in case you needed yet another reason to vote for me (highly doubtful) I present you with this:
A few things of note here: I'm 6'3" and about 300 pounds and clearly my agility for a big guy is unmatched - I guess when you're a fat ninja like me you have to train extra hard. I was at a work conference with 2 of my female coworkers and we had been drinking for the past 5 or 6 hours. This was my 3rd time doing this routine so I was pretty tired at the end. The first time I did it to be funny (which I was). The 2nd time was to capture it on video (which it wasn't). And the 3rd time was a charm. Oh and for those of you that don't get the
reference...
Update on my campaign:
So here we are again. Jones vs. The Gaff v 2.0
For those of you who do not know our history, Tom edged me out back in 2006 with a nailbiting score of 49-45 because he promised the following:
In Hiding wrote on 08/15/06 at 00:53:44:Kinda - Mark Jones is probably one of the favourites along with Penev/Fried and Sami to win the karters contest.
Heres your chance to make history - vote for me and if I win I'll take loads of pictures of my hot girlfriend... topless and post them on here. They will be legit

Edit this is her, and at least three Karters on these forums can vouch it is my bird.
http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/5889/hannahmj7.jpg Note: He later modified his original promise to post only one pic but Fried was kind enough to document his original comment in the original thread which you can find
hereTom did deliver a pic of his (then) gf and there was writing on her stomach area, and she was technically topless, however many people felt that Tom's campaign was misleading and that he never fully delivered on his promise to show his gf "topless" because she was covering certain key features of herself.
So, knowing Tom and his never ending quest for MB glory I felt that I couldn't be left flat-footed again so he can knock me out once more with vague, semi-fulfilled campaign promises.
If I beat Tom I will deliver on the following:
- I will upload an AIM chat from 2002 where a group of us were discussing the alleged Brian Gallo strat on DKJP for MK64. In this chat Tom gets into a confrontation with MK64 legend Matt Batastini and some mild hilarity ensues. Featured in this chat are: Sami Cetin, Tom Gaffikin, Michael Liem, Kevin Booth, Matt Batastini and myself. Edit: Gaffikin vs. Batastini
- I will upload another AIM chat from around 2002 as well where a group of Players' Page guys confront an obvious liar (the guy was claiming like 32/32 WRs). A small excerpt from this chat can be found in my sig. Featured are: Kevin Booth, Brian Gallo, Jason Whalls, David Wonn, myself and Thugpassion0718 aka Fernando. Edit: The Passion of the Thug
- Custom titles: removed from campaign: see below
Update: 7/16
So I've done some thinking the past day or so about this whole board customizations as part of a campaign issue. Even though only 8 out of 26 people voted in opposition of the idea, I've been reevaluating the situation. I started the campaign because I thought it would be a fun and add some life to the contest.
I'm dropping custom titles as part of the campaign. Instead, since board customizations seem to be desired by a bunch of people, I'm going to offer custom titles to people who meet the following criteria with no strings attached:
At least 1,000 posts and member of the board for a year
Or
At least 500 posts and Member of the boards for more than 3 years
Note: You must not have a handicapped account, and spamming to reach these benchmarks will result in both a handicapped account and the loss of your ability to obtain a custom title. Those who currently have handicapped accounts can obtain custom titles when their handicaps are removed.
If you so desire, and if he feels up to it, Lacey can give you a custom name color and custom icons. However, be aware that these icons and colors, unlike the titles, will only be visible to yourself. The titles will be visible globally.
That means that I have nothing left in terms of campaign promises. However, I don't want you to vote for me simply because I'm allowing custom titles. If your heart tells you to vote for Tom and go for it. He's a great guy who adds a lot of life to the forum and community. If your heart tells you to vote for me, do so because you value what I've given to the community not for some dumb campaign promise, video or stunt. After all, win or lose, this whole contest is not really some pissing contest to see who has the most groupies. This contest is a testament to the fact that Nintendo made some kick ass games as far back as the early 90s and we all enjoy playing them - but we enjoy playing them more as part of a shared experience with each other.
