I remember Alex Penev once said that if you have any problems to send a PM to him and he will at least reply with an explanation or correct the problem. So I tried to take his advice before making this thread:

I didn't want to make this topic, but since the administrator clearly can not hold to his old words I felt obliged to make this.

Handicap is stupid, especially since my post quality has improved astronomically since I first was given handicap probably over 6 months ago, or when I was temp banned a long long time ago. Even my post rate has declined from mid 7 to low 6 per day and still falling.

Well, your spam mood tends to last for a long time. Sometimes I worry that it drives people away from the board.

Can't you get a fix just by reading? There's no reason to post so often, especially if the post doesn't say very much, or if the post addresses only one person. You can address just one person if you want, but if that person is also a spammer (such as jamie or brutus) then people will see it as "talking among spammers" and look at it negatively.

@MVT: I did "correct the problem". Your handcap had been set to 0.1 for a long time. I recently upped it to .4, you complained, and then I set it back to .1. It's not my fault if you didn't notice that it had fallen back down to what it had been for months.

@Jamie: because I like messing with him. Also, because he trolls and incites trouble, even if he doesn't realise it. Undecided
