Tied (more or less) with Braixen's pace going into the l3 waterfall despite having a horrid shroom lap 3. Get the slipdrift, looks amazing, exit the waterfall and randomly get MASSIVE air resulting in a super slow MT. My ghost that shits the bed during the waterfall actually comes back on screen. I do the final turn, still low 58.9 pace, easy PB, easy 2nd WW, but notice that if I keep going straight, Funky's fucking elbow hair will skim the wall before the finish line. So I tap left, ghost completely catches up, and I finish with another stupid low 59 (59.02x) Smiley

This track has some damn fine margins

Just had a monster session... 59.114 & 59.026 with missed sticks lap 3 and 58.989 (4th sub) which lost about .200 from a bounce on the boost panel before the waterfall. I also had two other runs on .7 pace in which I fell off at the waterfall l3. Pretty shocked I didn't PB tonight...

missed stick or something I forget

Had a bunch more like these^ but also got 59.014, 59.058, 58.998, 58.971 & 58.988 last night all of which got fucked over somehow lap 3 (stick or slipdrift miss) or lost 0.2+ from a bounce or stick miss lap 1/2. Subbed 59 12 times now Smiley

Lap 1 no air entering the water, lap 2 I hopped way too late in the water and just hopped straight up like an idiot, and lap 3 I got air exiting the water. Ugliest sub run yet

You mean the zipper before or after the waterfall? If you mean after it's simply timing but I'm assuming you mean before, which can be a bitch, but luckily it can be done relatively consistently as long as you're precise/not nervous. If you bounce over it/get a heavy bounce it means 1) your angle was bad and/or 2) you started drifting too late. Generally aim to hit the bottom right corner of the pad, touching it as little as possible, and you should get less bounces/misses

Hard to say. I definitely don't get as nervous as before, I feel like I did everything I possibly could to get a proper fall but the game just decided to fuck me over. Actually in that .914 2/3 laps got no air entering the water so it wasn't up to nerves or anything. However, the drop at the end was certainly my fault and I should have done better... At that point I became very nervous and my timing was way off.

Played a little bc3 last night and had a godly session. Had this fail which I'll post below. 1:58.048 where last turn I completely screwed up the alignment and had to wheelie turn a bunch and then double dropped. This course is absolutely brutal.

Ran it in dolphin afterwards. If I had just gotten a straight alignment with double 84, it would have still been 1:57.978. With double chains it would have been 1:57.697.

I now have .017,.047,.048,.081 where 3/4 of them had double drops last straight. .047 had an 84 drop before the line. Also have four .2 runs with double drops last straight which would have subbed with chains.

How bad was it? The shroom ended before I crossed the line. Would have been WR even with the god awful ending if I just used my last shroom while crossing the line
