My Friend Cannot Register For This Site

This is a PM I got from him via Youtube. He told me to post it so that everyone can see it. Can someone help him with this problem?

i'm not sure why this had appeared and i have tried the link many times and every time i have, this has appeared

Is there a way you could fix this for me and finish the verification off please?

This is his reply after I gave him the instructions.

my first username has expired due to 24 hour limit...so i edited the name slightly and tried again, I did as the advice said and used the sn112....thing and it all went fine.

i clicked on my verification mail 2 and i clicked on the verification link after i checked the browser was set right.....The exact same error came up..

is there another way or am i doing it wrong?
