Hmm, nice strat. On the vid, Troy said he and his mate had found this too, but if they did, why the hell not tell anyone? -__-
Anyway, I reckon it's likely that someone will pull this off soon on lap 1, considering how early on into the lap it is, and that you don't have to slow down like the old tas strat, so a shit run that manages to get to the right of the palm tree after will have a high chance of beating the WR imo.

Well I tried a Peach Gardens Auto TAS, I beat guillaume with a sub 1:59 time. I currently have a run that's 39.5 39.4 but then on the third lap the chomp is a dick in the hedgemaze and completely blocks any optimal pathway. i doubt i can shave off enough time to beat him given the limited strat possibilities in this track so i probably won't end up finishing this (if it wasn't there I could get a little under 1:58.5 most likely). if i evade the chomp and take a slower route the final time would be around 1:58.7ish, i can upload that eventually but it will be kind of lame
