The first ramp at Rainbow Road. How are you able to clip it like that to get a super low trick? I'm able to perform the moonjump so that I land on the very edge of the ramp, but one of the three things always happen;
- Barely overshoot the ramp and fall down the hole
- Clip the ramp but get some sort of weird backlag that sends me high and makes me travel extremely slow in the air
- I clip the ramp and get the low trick, but fall directly down the hole afterward.
If I could manage to get this I think I could cut significant time off of my record but I have no idea how doable it is. I'm having extreme trouble. I could upload a video of the three scenarios if that would help.
Any help is appreciated.
As Walter said, all depends on the height of the Jump you get. It was really easy for me to get it with TAS cause I was able to regulate the height by pressing down and up, I guess you can't think about it in a real run, unless you are able to calculate that good

Depending on how far you get the jump, this things happen:
- Boost landing: landing in the middle of the boost, you just get boosted instantly if you land correctly, but you can also get slowed down.
- Slow-low jump: landing almost at the edge, you get the low jump but you don't get the boost, making a really slow jump, which is slower. This makes the low jump more difficult to be done.
- Low jump (good one): like my TAS run, I can just say that if you get the perfect jump, you dont need to do anything else to get the low jump, I loaded a savestate while landing faraway at 60fps and I was getting the low jump 100%.
- Touching boost + trick + falling down straight: When you barely touch the boost, you need to at least touch it with the full wheel if you dont want this to happen.
- Falling directly: a really HIGH jump, LOL.
