Finally tried this, used Tyler's WR as ghost reference since this track is difficult to understand when TASing (more for me since I don't really play this game).

Laps are not as good as possible but there aren't awful, I could maybe improve 2nd and 3rd lap since I lost the ghost reference there and that maybe made me lose a little bit of time.

Sub 1.18 possible of course. (A very good TAS needs to be done though)

Finally this video has the quality I was expecting for Cheesy

You are my fucking Hero. Thank you for TASing MC3, and doing a great, but of course not perfect, run with it. I'm pretty sure .040 seconds of improvement per lap can be found somewhere, making a TAS sub 1:18 possible.

Exactly, the water level changes very slightly on rSGB but it has a big impact on making it or not. Right now though I'm so pissed off with the randomness that I go around the normal shroomspot and shroom at the islands. I'll work on it some tomorrow but there has to be a method to the madness. Sometimes I make it over the water but most of the time I don't.
