xD Ryan and Andrew will smash my head with an axe, but 60Hz-Rtech is easier than 50Hz. (J-C Lacasta. is agree with me).
When you tap on R, you have to push R to max but release lightly but fastly the R button. But you don't have to tap extremely fast; I remember you can use the music of the game to feel the rythm !! (1st lap only ^^)

You just have to recognise the famous extract of WC music !! xD
All " | " mean a R tap. If you are a little faster, you kart will turn stronger, and so on....

The correct speed is close to that.... don't know if it good, but it work for me !! ^^

But the best thing is to make it like Karlsson do. He push the R button very slow actually. Makes him drive very close to the wall on wc and rr.

1'00"8 no shroom opener w/o A-tech and a bad big spiral (depsite the tech) but a nice small spiral.

I really don't know either but Wachsmuth and Segas are two that come to mind as candidates. I seem to remember those two sticking out on WC way back when. Hopefully someone knows for sure who it was.

And more on the topic. That R L alternating technique looks nice but really is a lot slower than a good R-tech. I wish it wasn't but it's true.

Sorry for bumping this topic, but I have a question (again!)

On WC, is it better to be as close as possible to the wall at the beginning of the spiral, or should I start my R-Tech a little bit more away from the wall? I did both, and at both I have not the correct angle to come good enough around the spiral... (with shrooms btw, flap attempt). My R-Tech became pretty good, so I think it's not the problem. Help pleae?

Your R-tech is probably way better than mine, but i give you my opinion :

It's hard to "jump" very close to the wall ; in fact, i don't R tech directly.
I do a L tech for the firsts 3 pushes.
So, I push L to jump close to the wall, then press 'R' 1 or 2 times only (without releasing L !!), and next, I release L button (in order to fade from L tech to R tech).
With that, i can start my spiral closer than average R tech. That's my method, not the better, but maybe not useless for you.
