As Matthias seems to be on the verge of joining the ranks of the non-sc overall GODs, the question has come up whether he'll be a contender for Cooper's title of WGE.
    I think he has already lost that chance, but I don't know for sure. And the question is: Will we ever be able to decide?For that matter: Was Cooper really the true WGE?

First: This is a question of how good the times of a player who has gotten GOD were at the time he got his last GOD time. It's not a question of which one of the Gods is lowest ranked.
Secondly: This cannot be a question of avg.fin. or world rank at the moment of gaining overall GOD, because as time goes by, the competition is getting tougher. We can't even use PRWR, because the WRs are getting tougher, too, of course.

So: It seems to me that the only available way to compare is to look at total times at the moment of getting GOD, maybe expressed as a PR/GOD standard ratio?

But: Are those available for all the GODs now?

I think Matthias will still be ranked lower than Cooper on AF, so new WGE.  

Wow, when I asked Finn via PM what's the deciding fact being WGE of not I didn't expect to see such a topic .

If I can get the last God soon, I would have a worse AF than Cooper. But I'm already 21st there (23,969) and he's only 2 places away, so I'll overtake him soon with quite a great progress I'm making at the moment. So I won't look at all the yahoogroups message to recreate Cooper's timesheet when he became God because it's not my aim to take over this title.

In my opinion the AF chart is the most important ladder though it's a nice thing to have a combined world ranking list in which the totals also count. I hope that I can set a lot of PRs in the next weeks and the remote future so that I'll enter the Top 20 (or even 15) before this year ends. Then Cooper would keep his title.

^ there is a possibility - though admittedly remote - that there may have been a worse GOD in there before you, and if so, you've been an usurper all the time .

hopefully it will be found that you ARE the rightfull holder of the title, and till someone comes forth and claims you're not, I think you should consider yourself to be the one true WGE. actually I think you have nothing to fear till the day comes for me to join the ranks - and that's also a rather remote possibility (though it's not unthinkable, as I am thinking about it .)

that means this ends well, I think? Cooper keeps his title till someone even less talented manages to crawl over the line .

and is it sad that i was happy to read that i get to keep my title?!  while admittedly a purely fun thing to have - and prolly not even something you should be proud of - i am proud of it.  i'll definitely never be the best GOD ever, so i'll settle for worst.

I think one day Finn will be the WGE, he's going to just turtle his way up and tie all the standards.
