Good morning fellow Karters! I've come up with an idea and would like to see how much interest there is?!

1) I will purchase something Mario Kart related from Ebay, something relatively small.
2) I will take a picture of me with it in a place near to me which is either famous or represents my place (maybe just the sign post to my city or something), me packaging it and then me sending it to someone else from the forum who wants to get involved.
3) You/someone else will receive it. Take a picture of the package, you with it in the place which represents where you live and of you sending it on to the next person (it could/probably be international).

You then bump the topic and post the pics

Simples!

If you would like to get involved, sign up will last till Tuesday. I will then plan the route as best as possible.

If you would like to take part, but do not think you would be able to pay for the postage and packaging then please sign up, I will find a way to cover your expenses (either paypal or will send the money electronically or with the actual package).

Please only take part if you can take pictures (even ones on a camera phone are fine) because thats mostly the point of this!

You will obviously have to give the person you are to send it onto next your address, I would suggest at this point that takes place in IM or PM or on the phone, you should post your own address on the web anywhere. I can help arrange this if its easier.

Remember, you might think where you live is quite boring, but other people might think its quite interesting!

Edit: a good addition to this project might be to have every participant send some kind of small gift to the person they are forwarding the parcel to. The receiver of the parcel would then keep this gift and then send a new gift to the next person for him/her to keep. It can be just any small little thing you think is cool, for example a keychain, coin, bag of sweets or anything you can think of. This might just spice up even more this already fantastic project and provide increased excitement to the receiver as he/she has no idea what will be received. Thanks, Tom for taking the initiative to get this ball rolling

Edit2: What about adding a small notebook with the parcel and reserving each participant a page to write or draw whatever they like? Just throwing in ideas as I'm very excited about this project. Make it happen, Tom
