HOW TO PLAY
There are two teams, Town and Mafia. They are trying to kill each other. You know which team you are on by the Role PM I send you. Mafia members know who else is in the Mafia. Town members do not know which team anyone is on.

There are two phases, Day and Night. This game will start in the Day.  During each Day, people discuss in this topic and choose to vote for someone to lynch. Post your votes in bold like this:

first. At the end of the day, the person with the most votes is lynched, and his role is revealed. Then night begins.

At night, the mafia discuss secretly who they want to kill. One of them sends me a PM, and the player they name will turn up dead in the morning. Some players on both sides also have special roles that allow them to do actions at night. Once everyone has sent me their actions for the night, morning comes, any new dead bodies are revealed, and the next day begins.

The Town's best weapon is the Day lynch, so they will try to catch suspicious things the Mafia say and lynch them. Meanwhile, the Mafia try to misdirect the Town so they lynch someone innocent.

The game ends either when all the Mafia are dead (Town wins) or there are at least as  many Mafia as Town (Mafia wins). This is a team game - even if you died on the first day, you still win if your team wins. So don't be afraid to sacrifice your character's life if you think it will really help your team get the victory.

RULES - Don't break these or you'll be modkilled, it's simple. Read them carefully and if you don't understand, ask me. Ignorance isn't an excuse.
1) Don't talk with anyone about the game outside the topic unless your role specifically allows it.  If you have something to say, say it where everyone has a fair chance to see it.

2) Don't delete anything from this topic.  Don't delete your posts, don't edit your posts to delete something from them, don't delete other people's posts if you're a mod.  Same as above, everyone should have equal access to the information.  You can edit your post to add something only during the first 5 or so minutes before the Last Modified tag shows up.  After that, leave it alone.

3) Don't post if you aren't a living player in the game.  Spectators, shut up.  Dead people, shut up.  You got some suspicions that you really wanna share but the mafia killed you?  Too bad, save it for after the game.  You feel like messing with people's heads now that you're dead?  Don't.

4) Don't post during night.  Once it becomes obvious a lynch has happened, stop posting.  I will eventually post the result of the day's lynch and lock the topic.  Don't post again until I have unlocked the topic and posted the result of the night actions.  Night ends when I unlock the topic and post, not before.  Just because I'm a few hours late doesn't mean its OK to unlock the topic and post.

5) Don't bring money or other things of outside value into the game.  None of this "I bet you $20 I'm town."  That defeats the purpose of the game.

6) Don't post of picture of or directly quote text from a PM from me.  If you decide to claim your role and want to use some of the text from the role PM, paraphrase it.  It's a good idea to check with me that your claim isn't going to get you modkilled before you post it.

I will be sending out the role PMs now.  Players may begin posting anytime.
