i see the problem. youre playing on a HDTV with input lag. play on a CRT. i swear to god. it'll help. you're so wonky because of the input lag. try it asap. i swear.You are also not keeping your speed boosted wheelie after the bridge lap 1 and 2.

Someone experienced with MKWii non-tas seriously needs to sit there (at the entrance of the rYF bridge) with a savestate and try every fucking possible angle and approach until they determine some way to get it consistently and learn how it works. Biggest factors? speed? angle? What type of angle? There HAS to be a 'rhyme or reason' to this bridge thing to avoid that fucking sickening bounce. also, how do you consistently get air time on the lap transitions?

Wasn't there a taser that proved that there was rng involved in those types of situations

How do I avoid going too low and falling in the lava when doing the rBC3 low jumps w/Funky? When I was using Daisy for my recent SC runs it virtually never happened, but when I tried grinding Non-SC today there were far too many occasions when I jumped too low and either a) snagged the edge and lost speed, b) ended up stuck on the edge with my rear wheel over the lava, or c) just smacked the side surface of the platform and went for a fiery swim. I tried delaying the trick slightly but it didn't always prevent it from happening... Does the hop timing need to be super-precise as well or is there something else I might be doing wrong?

Edit: Hmm, I see. It's the first low that I'm finding the most difficult not to fall in on so I'll try delaying the MT release after the thwomp. Thanks for the advice! Wink

Well you need to get a wheelie out on every (some cases you wont wheelie and still make it, although) but you practically have to wheelie every landing for enough speed, and into the first trick you should extend your drift a little bit for more speed

When you hop on the FIRST railing/banister of CM on lap 3, you hop to get less air, so you can wheelie faster. After the hop but before the wheelie on the banister, is it more consistent to tilt down or up?

You can get your times to CTGP (Wii Only) to use it for Multighost etc. But it wont upload it to the ctgp

Only CTGP made times can be uploaded to the channel.

Start MKW through the ctgp channel and deactivate CTs. Go to the mario kart channel rankings and just open your PR (the PR screen with the time, challenge ghost etc.)
It will save the PR to the SD card and you are able to upload them manually to the other database, if you have a PR that needs to be recorded in HD Tongue
