Why cant we have cool little signatures that somehow coincide or auto-update with our AF rankings for each game?  Maybe even some customization too.  I think it would be really cool if someone knew how to make them.  I have seen other games that have similar devices as what I just described. Here are some examples:





Instead of these stats, they could display AF , PRSR % , standard, etc  for a kart game(s).  All of the ones I see are usually for halo , call of duty , "age of .."  , games that have online ranking servers set up and the signatures are automatically updated when the stats change.  Personally I think it would be a cool thing to work on, develop, and set up for the community.  I have no idea how to do it but maybe others can add some input or figure out how to manufacture such things.

It's not very hard, but it's useless because (a) this is not a large community and people already know people by reputation. (b) despite it being "cool" it's a waste of time and bandwidth to make a new image request every time someone loads a page on the forums (which is a lot!).

Yeah, that would be cool but I'm guessing would take up a lot of bandwidth.  I tried to keep my MKDD ranking on my sig. but it dropped way too fast to keep up  


With the previous idea though maybe instead of a graphic display at the bottom just have a text display.  It won't be showy and maybe only display it every time someone improves their combined rank.  For example if I don't play for a month and then suddenly submit some times and jump 50 places up the charts, have it display in my signature for a day or something like that.

I have no idea how much time or resources this would consume but just another idea.
