Because I don't think you're the mafia member and I know I'm not.

If I was the mafia I'd just vote for you right now and the game would be over. I would win instantly. Since I haven't done so, then it is clear to both of you that I am not town. I am 100% safe, I just have to choose which person to go with on this.

There was one post you made where you claimed you were mafia, however....so maybe I SHOULD end this right now. You can choose, man....withhold your vote and die, or vote on Tom and we end this.
