Well most things in mafia work in two ways.

1) Tom may have not bothered to pay much attention given that he was designated a town role so wasn't as bothered about being voted for as if he was mafia.

2) He is mafia, he voted for me because he had nowhere else to go or like you said is using it as a distracting tactic.

The timeline created by the night actions doesn't give us much help, as the Day ended when Yunus would've been still up, but it didn't start until after Tom would've been awake as well, so either of you guys could've sent that night kill message. It looks like Ben started Day 2 as soon as he woke up this morning, and I'll assume by his two timestamps that he went to bed not too long after he posted the end of Day 1. I would say the scale is tipped toward Tom at the moment, want to go get him now Brutus?

We can end this right now if you want to go for Tom.
