I don't think we should introduce
too many new roles, otherwise it will be confusing. It's probably better to keep most existing roles and introduce only a couple of new ones. I like the idea of Masons. Masons are townies who can talk to each other at night (like mafia) and they have the benefit of knowing that they're townies. They recruit others into becoming Masons as the game goes on. There are a few twists to apply to them. One is that if they accidentally recruit a mafia, then all Masons die. Another is that if they accidentally recruit a townie power role, that townie becomes a regular townie Mason and loses their power.
