Yeah but it's a shoddy glitch lap, imo no point including it in the bks table or anything, unless all laps are glitch, but even then they don't exactly represent simply 'the old lap bks' minus 'the time saved doing glitch', because the ratio of completed laps is much worse with glitch than without, hence the fastest glitch lap isn't as 'precise' or 'close to perfect' than non-glitch.

Sorry for the rant, went off on a bit of a tangent explaining my thoughts..

By that logic the MC, BCWii, GV, MG, etc., Glitch BKS laps shouldn't be counted because they aren't as 'precise' and 'close to perfect' as the nonglitch laps. So yeah... nice little logic fail there bro Smiley

I think your post post was incorrect, where you mentioned ignoring the faster laps because they were less played and less 'perfected' - but you are correct in the next post. The BKS are listed according to Character+Bike+Transmission.

There is, for example, no point in having a Manual 1st lap BKS for rPG then an Automatic 2nd lap BKS.

This is 'Best Known Splits' though. I don't understand how you can justify that; especially considering the glitch has been known for over a year now. Surely you can't just ignore a lap that's almost 2 seconds faster than the previous, just because it can be improved further? "By that logic" none of these splits should be listed, because they can all be improved - but that isn't what the Best KNOWN Splits is about.

As I understand it, the reason for this thread was to find a theoretical best human time. You obviously cannot do that without including these laps; no matter how 'bad' they may seem to be.

MVT's post just seems like a worded-insult, directed more at Nosey himself than anything in his actual post. Undecided
