I would like a complete set also if possible, but if that would take too long then perhaps i can get that later.

Two questions:

- If the PAL cartridge i have the game doesnt work, does that matter? Because i assume he puts a new circuit board inside of it. I have a broken copy of Mortal Kombat 2 i can bring.

- Will it be made to work for the Super Famicom yes? Because i previous one i had done was made to work for PAL and runs slow and completely out of sync. I assume as it is an NTSC game it would need to be created for SFC. The cartridge i have is a PAL one...

A working SMK copy (and no other game) is important because of the original chips inside the cartridge, to make Mode 7 work correctly. Even a F-Zero cartridge wouldn't be enough. So, in order to take no risks, you will need a full working SMK PAL or Japanese cartridge. Wink

And since the games run in NTSC, a modified PAL SNES (bring your own at the CDM, FFVIMan will do it for you Cool

) or a NTSC console (Japanese or US slightly modified to make Jap-shaped cartridges run) will be obviously needed.

lol, I didnt know it had to be a working SMK cart. I was gonna bring Exhaust Heat until I saw your post ^^ Anyway, no probs. Gonna nick one of my mates carts who doesnt play it much.

And why does it cost so much more if you want it complete? Ideally id like a complete one, but im happy with just a cart. Just curious as to the implied 'immense' cost

Thus it was meant to be for NTSC, like the one we played a bit at the CDM. Thanks man

Albeit its ntsc so my 50 or so nes games wont work on it. Its an investment though. So someone will be there who might be able to mod it?

Perhaps, I can't confirm anything about it.

If you remember a French guy called Daniel Guemy at the 2008 championship, he's the absolute master in terms of SNES switching, and modified ~ 60 PAL consoles to help them run both PAL and NTSC games in 60 Hz. He'll be in London with us this week-end, this would be a cool challenge for him.

Got a SMKR cartridge (kindly offered by Mario, our great sponsor Smiley

) as the major prize for winning the Fun Cup 2010. So I played it a bit last night. Only played on 3 tracks so far, but I can say that the tracks look pretty difficult, and the best strategies are way harder to find out and especially master here than on the original game ! Shocked

Anyway, I got some nice results:

Night Lane 1: 46"51 (LB) - 8"19 (LB)
Bubbly Clouds 1: 41"81 (LB) - 7"72 (LB)
Deep Forest 1: 39"95 (IB) - 7"26 (IB)
