It says 5290 so your message hasn't been updated yet.

I only do it once a day (why should I do it more often? That's not about laziness), around this time (somewhen in the next 2 hours).
We've got some more people who can update but they all don't.
Cool players only submit their daily PRs btw, that's waaay cooler and makes keeping track of stats and the updating work waaay easier

There are also plenty of lazy players who don't tell their name so we have to check the database everytime. Or people who write their name IN CAPITALS, wtf. thanks
Just do it in a normal way and we could all be happy with flawless updates

I say at least these guys keep the site going.  Slow updating is better than no site at all.

I mean really, it seems like a lot of work.  I clicked on recent once and there were so many times!  For submitting my tons of PR's, and for keeping the site moving, I have to say      

you have no right to complain until you see the speed we update on the mksc site

Noobs think we owe them everything, this is a kart forum not room service. Maybe if you gave the updaters some tips once in awhile they;d speed things up.

It's exactly once a day (as mentioned above) unless James or Paul get new PRs. It magically gets updated right away then

The updating is semi-automated. As long as you don't send your PRs in a dodgy format that the updater needs to edit, all they have to do to update your scores is input your name. Just stick to the formatting guidelines (they're already quite lax) and write your name in each email, and then it doesn't matter if you send 1 email or 10 emails per day. Since it's unlikely an update will happen between each of your 10 emails -- submissions may only end up being approved once per, in bulk -- then you might as well just send one mail.

Sometimes it's quite annoying to put in a name for a player, going for another one and then seeing another mail from the player before. It's only seconds of work though. Alvin Le is a great example I think I've updated 6 of his mails in a row once and then 3 mails later it was him again still beating the same record.

That's okay though unless you go crazy about slow updating which is, as mentioned in this topic, not slow on the MKW page.
