For instance, in the old version, there were these buttons i could use to align/format where my indents and paragraphs started... where they fuck have they hidden them?! There must be a way to revert back to classic or something?

Go to View at the top, and go to toolbars. You can select which toolbars you want shown at the top.

Edit: Also, you can drag them wherever you want, in case you want the toolbars aligned in a certain order.
