Ok, with only 21 people posting Round Two preds, I'll let anyone submit for the first match (and all others) until 1 hour before today's current match ends. So you have less than 23 hours to get preds in for matches A and B. This time extension is because there wasn't much time to get them in and I dont want anyone to lose points!

The first round of the preds contest is OVER!!!!.....Or not! With the tiebreaker, we'll have to wait until tomorrow to know for sure what score each competitor got in Round 1, but the winner has already been determined. (Drum roll) ALEX PENEV! Yes, Penev the master of us all had a 7/8 day today, ruining his perfect streak by forgetting to pick me, but still holding a THREE point lead over the rest of the field. Tight bunch all tied for 2nd now as Ellis is down a point. Most of the top 10 stayed strong today though. The most commonly mis-picked karter of Group P was Sascha Brauninger. He was picked more times than Stoneman and Di Vano, even though he finished behind them both. So the 4th place in Group P was really an upset. In Group O the most common wrong pick was Gerard Roodhorst, who finished in a 5th place tie, so that was a good pick by the crowd.

Here I'll break down what impact the tiebreaker could have on the standings. No one picked BOTH Stoneman and Di Vano, so that makes it a little more simple (those points would've been added in already). Mark Jones and Robin Usher are the highest two players who would be helped by a Di Vano win in the tiebreaker, that would put Mark in the big jumble in 2nd place (and give him and Robin the tough 8/8). If Stoneman gets the majority of the votes, the top three people to benefit would be Tanney, Karina, and Fried/Gaffikin. Stoneman was picked twice as many times as Di Vano, so his win would help more predictors (can that foretell the results?). You'll have to wait 24 hours to find the final standings of Round 1.

As far as cumulative points go, the scores in round one will all be divided by FOUR to give the final results total, so for example Alex will have 58/4 = 14.5 out of the maximum 16 points for round 1. I'll post these final tallies tomorrow after the tiebreaker has been decided. For round two, your preds will earn you DOUBLE the points of round one preds. So the perfect score would still be 16, but it only needs 32 names. Just for fun, I'll post leaderboards for TOTAL and Round 2 scores each night with preds, so you can see how your Round 2 preds are going AND how your total standing is looking each night. Remember: The people that still have no preds for Groups A and B have about 23 hours to get their preds in, else they will miss a FULL TWO POINTS for sure!
