All levels are fair, except for two - Sherbet land and shy guy beach because light bikes have such a huge advantage. i would ban those two levels.

Alright, time to reply. By the way, I have to laugh because ... well, if you've been following EVO and its Brawl rules on other forums, then look at what we're doing with MK Wii, you do have to laugh just a little bit.

First off, I don't play wifi often. I've played about 4 hours total since the game came out here.

Moonview Highway, I would allow. The cars messed up my thinking about the course, but since they run the same lines, I see no problem.

Yoshi's Island, the reason I bring up the concerns is the lack of depth within the course. It's a big left turn except for the first waterfall. I know that there's nothing there to make it really really bad, but if we're looking for some depth in the races we play, then I wouldn't allow it. I'll be on the fence, I'd like to hear more thoughts about this.

MC3, I see what you guys are talking about, and there's enough turns to make it strategic. I'll allow it.

I'm still not sold on SGB or the desert courses. However, because of the POW block, I'm almost inclined to allow the desert courses.

All other courses are still allowed.

Remember, items are on strategic, so keep in mind the items that will be in play. If it was a no-items tournament, then only SGB would be banned.

= = =

Mark, I like your idea of dwindling the field to a certain amount of tracks. What if we had the same 4 races for the first set of matches, a new 4 races for round 2, and four more races for round 3? So essentially, everyone will play the same courses, the only differences will be the people you play against. Hopefully that makes sense.

k I have to keep working.

Alright, so I'm going to have a final ruleset that I'm going to submit to the LAN center tomorrow. I'll post it tonight, so give some final thoughts and I'll make any emergency changes.
