I'm not sure if this is known yet, but I only got the game yesterday and haven't been looking at the boards for MKW. Anyway I heard that there was this thing put into the game to make mting on straights harder, and that's because mt's charge more slowly when you don't turn into the slide and try to do a straight slide, so for faster mts you need to lean into the slide.
