is there any advanage to either one? im not talking about the feel of it, i mean is there anything that 1 can do that the other cant. EX:gc controller tilting the joystick giving less turning input than a wiiwheel tilted. does the gc controller take longer to register trick input?

i personally like the feel of the wheel and dont wanna adapt if there is no advantage.

Reply #1 - 05/02/08 at 19:54:08 From my experience, the wheel absolutely sucks compared to the gcn controller, but I guess you've grown used to it. I just had so much trouble turning with the wheel. No, it doesn't take longer to register trick input. If anything it should be quicker.

I don't think any control setup is going to be as precise as the GC controller, especially the wheel, that thing sucks. Its so easy to over turn with it. I guess after playing MK on a dpad and joystick all your life it makes everything else feel sloppy. I tried the nun chuck setup and it wasn't terrible, I just hate the motion control for tricks and wheelies, it wasn't very accurate. On a good note it was nice being able to leave my finger on the joystick to wheelie, but its not a big deal considering you lose a ton of speed if you turn while in a wheelie anyway. GC is by far the best imo.

Ask for MKWii fc if you wanna race
