I think at the very least we should have separate charts for SC and non-SC (even if that means keeping the SC as the main chart to have our charts coincide with the Nintendo top 10s). However, I don't think we should decide quite yet. Let's see if any more SCs are found and then reassess what should happen with the charts and rankings.

what's the point of banning things? will it be more fun or what? don't be afraid. if it turns out that you can do this lakitu thing on several courses, then seperate charts might be a good solution. otherwise i think you should keep it simple by allowing it, and any other technique or shortcut that is in the game, it's more attractive that way, atleast for me.

Isn't this what I just said? The only thing you have to remember, is that this site has a long tradition of Non-SC/SC segregation - going back all the way to SMK. And throughout all of the other games, any time you use Lakitu to advance you it's always been considered SC.
